An exhibition to raise awareness about eating disorders

There comes a Massarosa, in space on the first pano of the town hall, a traveling exhibition, created thanks to the collaboration of the two associations Lucca "We love PH" (cultural association of photographers) and "A.C.C.A. Lucca non-profit organization "an 'association for the treatment of eating behavior.

This is an awareness campaign on eating disorders.

The photography project, titled "apple game?" Stories of hope and healing consists of more than 50 shots, was produced by 11 photographers, with their sensitivity and ability to express themselves through images, they managed to face a very delicate issue as one related to eating disorders.

Through a series of individual works photographers I was able to retrace the steps of these diseases. The photographs capture the complexities of the disease and express the possibility for the sick person to get to the healing, sending a strong message of hope. The images it through the various stages of the disease since the discovery of the disease, through its various forms of manifestation, until terminated.

The exhibition will be inaugurated Saturday, April 8 at 11 am, will remain visible during the opening hours of the municipal offices until 26 April 2017.
