The Teatro dell'Olivo is an architectural experience that is more than a spectacle. It rises in the place that once housed a wool puller; built during the 16th century, the tug of war failed and its owner escaped from the city. Only in 1649 the Accademia dei Deboli, an association formed by a group of citizens of Camaiore, asked to reopen the building, so that it could host plays and other scenic performances.

The Theater is getting ready to welcome the new season, confirming an important cultural reference for the show live in Versilia. Classic and contemporary, tradition and new languages: these are the guidelines of the 2017-2018 billboard, which will take place from 18 November 2017 until 8 April 2018, designed to respond to the growing demand for live entertainment. Thanks to the consolidated collaboration between Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo onlus and the City of Camaiore, this year a broad program will be presented with well-known protagonists, including Tullio Solenghi, Veronica Pivetti, Amanda Sandrelli, Sergio Muniz, Lucia Poli, Milena Vukotic, Alice Spisa, Ascanio Celestini and Roberto Alpi.

Ten appointments offering gifts and re-readings ("Sorelle Materassi" from the novel by Palazzeschi, "Decameron" from Boccaccio; in Pirandello with "Pupi Siamo"), reflections on the theme of love ("The Seducer" by Diego Fabbri, "Viktor & Viktoria" from the 1933 film by Schunzel, "Hearts Unleashed" with Sergio Muniz), and again the novelty of " narrator of forgotten lives "Ascanio Celestini (" Pueblo ") and the final show of In-Box," Scribbles ".

Scheduled Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 21: 00, "I'm there", which sets the story of Lucia Annibali, the young woman disfigured with the acid from her ex boyfriend. A "committed" theater show signed by Andrea Bruno Savelli and interpreted by an intense Alice Spisa.
