Fish Festival
Back in the town of Massarosa (LU), on the banks of the Lake Massaciuccoli , the traditional Fish Festival . In all, seven days of the event: 23, 25, 29 and 30 April, 1, 6 and 7 May .
The extensive menu the festival provides both freshwater fish and sea fish ; this thanks to the favorable location of the lake, not far from the coast. The recipes will vary risotto by frying . Apart from this, you can also enjoy typical local dishes eels and frogs .
The festival takes place in an area equipped along the track pedestrian cycle of the Lake Massaciuccoli . Near the stands there is also the option to bicycle rental . In the event evenings it is also provided the opportunity to make a lake tour by boat , complete with a tasting of local wine.
The Fish Festival is organized by the Group Fratres Massaciuccoli. The food stands will be open every evening for dinner and on Sundays and public holidays for lunch. Every evening there will be live music thanks to the presence of live orchestras; Also noteworthy as a children's play.
