From May 4 to 20 (inauguration Friday 4 May at 17) at Palazzo Mediceo di Seravezza the exhibition "Al Mediceo come al Metropolitan", a visual and musical art project that sees the protagonists, returns for the second year. students of the Istituto Comprensivo di Seravezza. The event develops on the binomial of music and art, particularly congenial for an institute that offers its students the opportunity to follow a course of study with a musical orientation. On show, works of art elaborated to give graphic shape to musical compositions chosen in complete autonomy by the students participating in the project. A multi-sensorial tour that, with the vision of the works on show, will match, through special QR codes, the listening of the musical pieces related to each work. During the weekends, for the entire duration of the exhibition, the performances of the musical groups that operate within the school will also be presented to the public. Testimonials of young artists will be the painter Marcello Scarselli, present at the opening on Friday, who will present a selection of his works in the Cosimo I room of Palazzo Mediceo.

The initiative is organized by the Fondazione Terre Medicee in collaboration with the Comprehensive Institute of Seravezza and with the support of the Assessorship for the promotion and promotion of the territory and the sectors of the School and Youth Policies of the Municipality of Seravezza. Among the aims of the project, also that of strengthening the link between the historical-monumental heritage of the city and the young people of today, called tomorrow to defend and enhance this heritage.
