Impromptu painting to Villa Borbone

Sunday, October 9, 2016 will be held at the Visitor Centre of the Regional Park Migliarino San Rossore Villa Borbone in Viareggio the 5th impromptu painting entitled "The trees, ancient inhabitants of the reserve cell Lecciona"; during the event the artists will be accompanied in the woods of the Lucchese bush and will stop in the place that most inspires them, the works produced will remain on display in the premises of the Visitor Center until Sunday, October 23. The event is open to everyone, young and old, experienced or not wishing to try their hand at playing an important part of the nature of our park: trees which for centuries constitute the forest of Macchia Lucchese.

 

the event is organized by Legambiente Versilia and curated by its operators in the Visitor Center and is an invitation not only to artists, to all those who wish to discover the beauty of the woods and the
dune environments Macchia Lucchese.

 

wHO cAN pARTICIPATE: the event will take part in all artists, regardless of age, who want to try in the representation of different views of Macchia Lucchese in order to enhance and bring to life the most significant aspects of the environment of Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli.

 

SUBJECT oF tHE WORK: participants at ' extemporaneous are free to choose the person to be represented, according to the preferred painting technique and personal style, as long as it represented a tree Nature Reserve Lecciona.

 

DIMENSIONS oF CANVAS: the pictorial work must not be smaller than 30 x 40 cm and not greater than 70 x 100 cm, and should be free of frame but with hangers. Participants should bring the material required to carry pictures.

 

PROCEDURES 'REGISTRATION: The registration includes a contribution of € 5.00 per participant. Please make a non-binding pre-entry, even by telephone, at the address of the organization in order to be able to notify the participants in the event of referral. In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to a date to be determined.

 

PROGRAM: Between 9:00 am and 10:00 am will have to be made the stamping of the canvases at the front-office of the Visitor Centre. The works must be submitted by 17.00. Please note, unsigned, penalty exclusion from the event.

 

AWARDS AND EXPOSURE: The works will be submitted to the discretion of the official jury, composed of at least three experts, who will choose three works which will be awarded the prizes that will be delivered together with the certificates of participation at the award ceremony that will take place at 18.00.

 

These awards:
 1st Prize: a guided tour in a nature reserve of Migliarino-San RossoreMassaciuccoli and a publication of the Park;
 2:03 Award: Ente publications Regional Park Migliarino San Rossore.
the works, collectively, will remain on display in the Visitor Centre inside the Villa Bourbon, until the dates of 22 and 23 October in which will be held at the same, a Mycological Show focused on fungi of the Macchia Lucchese. The organization ensures maximum care of the works, and declines all responsibility for any theft or various damage. The works must be strictly removed within the morning of Tuesday, October 25, 2016, by agreement with the organizing secretary.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please note that you will need to bring a packed lunch because there are dining options open in the immediate vicinity of the Nature Reserve. However, you can.
